Google, Yahoo, MSN (Bing) Listings

You know, this one is really pretty important. When
someone searches for “anything your town, your
state” then chances are
that Google Maps, Yahoo, or Bing are going to show business listings
for that field or subject. From dentistry to florists,
this is a key consideration for all businesses, especially
since many times (in the case of google) the listings are above the
first organic listing. So, you’d think that those listings that were
first in the organic pile would also take precedence in the business
listing, right? Nope, Google, for instance, has a separate algorithm
for business listings so you need to do much of your SEO from within your listing itself. This means
reviews, pics, video, keywords, title considerations,
etc.. Much the
same as you would consider for organic rankings, just in a different
place.
